Police: Danville woman charged with setting home on fire after argument with boyfriend
DANVILLE, Va. (WSET) -- A Danville woman is in jail charged with burning or destroying a dwelling.
Police said Edwina Davis, 34, set fire to a home after an argument with her boyfriend and the fire displaced three people on Sunday.
According to VineLink, Davis was arrested on Wednesday.
The Danville Police Department said everyone made it out of the house safely, and no injuries were reported.
Officials say the house had heavy fire and smoke damage.
Davis is scheduled for a bond hearing on May 22.
The Red Cross is helping the three occupants by providing temporary housing.
