Moore & Giles opens up doors to the public and leather to be sold locally
LYNCHBURG, Va. (WSET) -- A longtime Lynchburg business is opening its doors to the public for the first time.
Moore and Giles has been around for 84 years.
They're known around the world for industrial leather sales and their leather is found in hotels, restaurants, yachts, and jets.
Now, you can buy hides, furniture, rugs, and scrap leather the last Wednesday of every month.
"It's really a community outreach project for us, you know, our homes and our families are here, and for years, people have been asking when are you guys going to let us come shop at Moore and Giles, so this is a good opportunity for us to do that," said Director of Marketing and Creative Services, Daryl Calfee.
The leather will be offered in limited runs, constantly changing each month and sold at a discount.
