Martinizing Dry Cleaning is collecting coats for those in need
DANVILLE, Va. (WSET) -- With the cold weather approaching, before swapping out your old winter coat for something new, consider giving it back.
From now until New Year's, Martinizing Dry Cleaning in Danville is running its annual Coats for Kids donation program.
They will take old, used coats, clean them up for free and donate them to people in need.
The company has taken in well over 800 coats in the past 30 years of the program.
"Danville's been very good to us for a long time. We've been in business here for almost 60 years so it's important to give back to the community that has raised us and takes care of us," said Mark Mills, president of Martinizing Dry Cleaning.
Donations are accepted at both their Danville and Chatham locations.
