Man arrested after investigators take cocaine, meth, nearly $2,000 in cash from home
FRANKLIN Co., Va. (WSET) -- The Franklin County Sheriff's Office said it's arrested a Wirtz man after a narcotics investigation.
The sheriff's office said narcotics investigators and patrol deputies executed a search warrant in the 100 block of Blackbird Ln. in the Wirtz area of Franklin County around 11:45 p.m. Wednesday, May 16.
Investigators said the search warrant was in reference to the illegal distribution of narcotics.
At the time of the search warrant, two people were inside: Patrick Bowman, 50, and Jessica Lynn Clark.
During the search, investigators seized approximately 29 grams of cocaine, 10 grams of methamphetamine, and $1,944 in cash.
Bowman was arrested and charged with two counts of possession of a schedule I or II controlled substance with the intent to distribute.
He's currently being held in the Franklin County jail without bond. The sheriff's office said this is an ongoing investigation and additional charges may be pending.
