LYNCHBURG, Va. (WSET) -- The Lynchburg Police Department's Traffic Safety Unit is hoping that they can get the help from Lynchburg's businesses that have digital message boards or letter posting signs.

LPD said it would like your business to post a slogan such as "Click it or Ticket" or "Buckle Up Lynchburg" in support of the National and Virginia Occupant Safety Campaign.

The campaign kicked off May 15 and runs through June 14.

If your business is interested in participating in the campaign, called Officer Saxon of the Traffic Safety Unit at 434-455-6047.

LPD also wants to take pictures of businesses that participate and post them to their social media outlets to show support for the combined efforts.
