Liberty University crews at stadium for last minute graduation preparations
LYNCHBURG, Va. (WSET) -- It basically rained all day Friday, so naturally the seats at William Stadium will be wet for graduates on Saturday.
Liberty officials said crews will be drying seats before people use them Saturday morning.
Other last minutes preparations were going on around campus on Friday afternoon.
Crews were seen setting up tents that will go over metal detectors, the majority of which will be set up between gates one and two where more than 25 metal detectors will be placed.
There were also crews going around the stadium checking their equipment and doing last minute work on the stage setup.
Anytime the president goes somewhere, national media follows, so national media representatives are also setting up their equipment.
Remember, leave the umbrellas at home if you head for the stadium on Saturday.
They are prohibited, instead Liberty will provide 50,000 ponchos.
