Hill City House Grille closing its doors
LYNCHBURG, Va. (WSET) -- Hill City House Grille will be closing its doors for the final time Friday night.
Lynchburg City bought the property, and is preparing to demolish the restaurant to make way for a new ramp to 501.
Restaurant owner Donna Reichard says they've been in the location for about four years and is really grateful for all the support her customers have given her.
Reichard expects a packed house for their last night with one final musical performance before they close.
"I would say that for me and my staff, when we close those doors one last time, there will be a few tears that come," said Reichard. "It will be bittersweet for us and sad."
Right now, Reichard isn't sure if she'll reopen at a new location. She says the staff members have other places after they close tonight.
