'He's the real MVP:' Woman thanks officer who stopped to play ball with her kids
LYNCHBURG, Va. (WSET) -- Edwina Taylor-Mosley said it was just an average Sunday at her home in Lynchburg when her kids shouted to her, "mom, the police outside."
Taylor-Mosley said what she saw, brought tears to her eyes.
She said the officer saw the kids playing ball and stopped to play with them.
And he even gave out candy to kids, "this just go to show that NOT ALL POLICE ARE BAD!!!"
Taylor-Mosley said she never got his name, but wanted to thank the officer who took time to play with the children and show them that police are friendly and trustworthy.
The Lynchburg Police Department put on Facebook that it was Officer Sacks, saying "this is what it is all about. We are all in this together."
