DANVILLE, Va. (WSET)-- The Danville Rotary Club announced they will be doing a field of honor again this year.

For the second year, the club will honor law enforcement, first responders and military by placing a thousand flags by Memorial Bridge.

Friday, the Rotary Club and CIT employees spent the day preparing the flags. You'll start to see the flags go up on June 11. The field will be complete in time for Flag Day-- on June 14.

There will be a flag to honor every first responder and law enforcement personal in Danville. If you would like to purchase a flag in honor of someone in the military or a first responder, they can be purchased for $40. You can purchase it at Commonwealth Home Health, Edward Jones at Ballou Park, or Office Plus.
