FBI, officials still looking for Alexis Murphy
LOVINGSTON, Va. (WSET) - The FBI says officials are still looking for Alexis Murphy's body.
Murphy was last seen on August 3, 2013 at approximately 7:15 p.m. from a gas station in Lovingston.
Murphy told her parents she was headed to Lynchburg to go shopping, but she never made it there.
Randy Taylor was convicted of her murder and sentenced to two life sentences.
Taylor tried to shorten his sentencing by offering to tell investigators where Murphy's body is.
Taylor tried to appeal his conviction, but the State Supreme Court denied the appeal.
