LYNCHBURG, Va. (WSET) -- More than 30 churches are coming together this weekend to pray for Lynchburg.

City Reach Lynchburg said local churches will meet on the front lawn of E.C. Glass High School on Langhorne Road at 4 p.m. on Sunday, March 11 where you can take communion, worship, and hear from several local pastors.

The churches will then have a short prayer walk to Miller Park.

At the park, City Reach said that there will be prayer stations set up throughout with specific prayer topics, such as local schools, city officials, first responders, hospital, local families, and challenges in our community.

The event will go until 6 p.m. Sunday night.
