The Buzz July 12-14: The Ruckus, Film Series and Horse & Hound Fest
Let's hope the rain stays away this weekend so you can dance to the groovin' sounds of The Ruckus! Come out to Friday Cheers at Riverfront Park for a night of dancing. The Ruckus plays songs inspired by all kinds of blues, rock and jazz musicians. Doors open at 5:30 p.m., and tickets are $5.
Who doesn't love horses, dogs and wine? If you do, then don't want to miss the 9th Annual Horse and Hound Festival. That's Saturday in Bedford from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. You can watch funny dog contests, a horse parade and of course--do some wine tasting. You can buy tickets here.
Hitchcock lovers out there--this Saturday there's a screening of To Catch a Thief in Lynchburg. Come out to Amazement Square for the outdoor Riverflick Film series. This 1955 romantic thriller is about a reformed burglar who sets out to catch a new thief who might ruin his reputation. Gates open at 7 p.m. and the movie starts at dark.
