Honoring Thurgood Marshall

The honorable Thurgood Marshall was a heralded lawyer and civil rights leader. As Chief Council for the NAACP, he won the historic 1954 Brown vs. Board of Education decision. Which declares segregation of public schools illegal, laying the groundwork for desegregation nationwide. In 1967, he became the first African American Supreme Court Justice.
