Brook Hill Farm hosting 'Help a Horse' Day on Wednesday

FOREST, Va. (WSET) -- Brook Hill Farm in Forest is having an open house on Wednesday, April 26 to show how rescue horses can be retrained and rehabilitated and assist in the healing of people through Equine Assisted Activity programs.

The organization and Hope's Legacy are a part of VAERO (Virginia Association of Equine Rescue Organizations).

The ASPCA's Help a Horse Day is a national celebration and contest to raise awareness of the plight of horses.

At the open house you will be able to meet the horses and meet the people who help take care of them every day.

It will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. and there will be heavy Hors d'oeuvre.
