Beach Music Festival being held in Lynchburg this weekend
LYNCHBURG, Va. (WSET) -- The wet forecast is not putting a damper on plans for a new festival coming to Riverfront Park.
Organizers with the Lynchburg Beach Music Festival started setting up Friday.
This is the festival's first year, hosted by the Pascat Agency.
It features live music, food vendors, and plenty of activities for the kids.
Even though Friday's skies were overcast, organizers say that rain isn't setting them back at all.
"Everything is covered, we have huge tents we're bringing in that's going to be covering the middle of the field so in case it did rain tomorrow, we're gonna make plans where you can be under cover," said Winston Marsden, Founder & CEO of Pascat Agency.
The fun starts at noon and lasts until 7 p.m.
There's still time to buy tickets online, you can do so here.
