WYYD Announces Major Changes in Format, On-Air Talent

Lynchburg, VA - Major changes have been announced at Lynchburg's WYYD-FM.

The Kenny and Judy in the Morning show has been replaced with the Bobby Bones show out of Nashville.

Kenny Shelton moves to afternoons and weekends and Rip Wooten stays where he is on air.

Another big change listeners will notice, the station will now be called "New Country, 107-9 YYD", and will only play current hits and songs from the 2000s instead of the mix of songs from the 1970s through today.
