Woman Pleads Guilty To Running Over And Killing Bicyclist
Roanoke, VA - A woman accused of running over a bicyclist while drunk has entered a plea in her case. Rikki Dawn Reynolds, of Salem, faces 31 years in prison for her crime. Reynolds entered a guilty plea Tuesday morning in Roanoke Circuit Court. She was originally set for trial in July.Reynolds ran over 59 year old Earl Wright, of Roanoke, as he rode his bike home from work last month. Wright was hit along Franklin Road. Reynolds pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter while DWI, DUI and leaving the scene of an accident. She will be sentenced August 8th.
