West Lynchburg Baptist Church Serves Community on Thanksgiving

Lynchburg, VA - {}Hundreds got a Thanksgiving meal at West Lynchburg Baptist Church. It held its second annual community Thanksgiving lunch. Last year, the church fed more than two-hundred people and this year, they hope to feed even more. WLBC says this is a great way for them to give back to the surrounding community.They have many volunteers who come out to serve.

"We just wanted to give back to this community.{} It's a very positive community.{} Our church is doing a lot of things here to reach out to say we care about you we love you we just want to let you know that and you cant do that inside those four walls in the building," said Pastor Robert Putt. He said it's a real community effort to have the lunch. There are many churches and schools who help and are involved.{}
