Water Washes Out Pittsylvania Co. Road

Pittsylvania Co., VA - Rushing flood waters washed out a huge chunk of White Fall Road in northern Pittsylvania County Thursday, according to the Renan Volunteer Fire Department.

Pictures sent to ABC 13 show the road completely washed away. The fire department says the several people were stranded, but have been accounted for and are safe.

VDOT reports the road still closed on its website.
