Warner Stops in Forest, Comments on McDonnell

Forest, VA - Senator Mark Warner is on a four-day tour of the state, making a stop in Forest Wednesday.

Warner toured the Center for Advanced Engineering and Research facility Wednesday morning and spoke to a small group about the importance of innovation and job creation.

ABC 13 also talked to Senator Warner about Virginia's ethics and gifts laws, in light of the charges against former Governor Bob McDonnell.

"My thoughts are with Bob, Marie and their family but I do think we need to have clearer ethics laws in terms of size of gifts in terms of disclosure," Warner said.

Senator Warner continued his tour in Altavista, where he met with community leaders there. He will end his four day tour in Hampton Roads.
