Wards Road Crowded Now That Students Are Back In Town

Lynchburg, VA- It's that time of year, college is back in session, and you may have noticed some traffic back-ups on Wards Road already.

Liberty University starts their classes Monday and that means thousands of students on campus and out in local stores and restaurants.

Some students have been back for a week now and others just moved in this weekend, and that means traffic back-ups, long lines at the grocery stores, and packed restaurants.

We spoke with some students who say they are excited to be back in Lynchburg for the semester. They say classes start tomorrow, but there are still a lot of parents visiting and moving students in. Those parents are expected to be out of the area within the next day or two, but the students are here to stay.
