It's Walk to School day in Lynchburg.

There is a new addition to the drop off sites this year, Paul Munro.
The day is designed to get kids walking or biking to school safely.

So Wednesdsay morning, be on the lookout for large groups of kids.
This year's walk will take place on Wednesday, October 3rd at designated drop off sites for Perrymont, T. C. Miller, Dearington, Linkhorne, R. S. Payne, William Marvin Bass, and new to the walk this year, Paul Munro.
Similar events are hosted across the country and worldwide to build safer routes for children to walk and bike to local schools, to remind motorists to be alert and drive accordingly around school facilities, and to emphasize the importance of physical activity in the health and well-being of our children.
