      VT's Green Named AP Third-Team All-America

      Blacksburg - Virginia Tech senior guard Erick Green was named third-team Associated Press All-America Monday.

      Green joins Dell Curry, a second-team pick in 1986, as the only Hokies to ever make one of the first three AP All-America teams. Green was honored as ACC Player of the Year in March. He led the nation in scoring at 25 points a game.
      Here's your AP All-America First Team. Doug McDermott of Creighton, Victor Oladipo of Indiana, Otto Porter, Junior of Georgetown, Kelly Olynyk of Gonzaga and Trey Burke of Michigan. The second-team All-America squad includes Duke's Mason Plumlee, Miami's Shane Larkin and Indiana's Cody Zeller.
