Volunteers Needed for MDA Camp

      The Muscular Dystrophy Associationneeds help with their summer camp this year.

      They are looking for volunteercounselors and medical staff to help care for the kids with the disease.

      The volunteers must be at least 16years old, and you will be assigned to one camper to help them with differentactivities like swimming, sports, horseback riding.

      If you want to be a part of the medicalstaff, then you will supervise all the campers.

      Here's more information released by MDA leaders:

      WHO: Individuals who want to be volunteercounselors and medical staff to care for youngsters with musculardystrophy and related diseases.

      Volunteer counselors must be at least 16 years old. Campers' ages range from6 to 17. Each counselor is a companion to an MDA camper, helping them with campactivities (swimming, sports, horseback riding, arts & crafts, etc.) andday-to-day activities (eating, bathing and dressing).

      Additionally, MDA is seeking physicians, nurses, emergency medicaltechnicians, physical therapists and other medical professionals to bevolunteers for the camp's medical staff. Medical staff will supervise andmaintain the health and well-being of all camp participants.
