Lexington - VMI football is taking its show on the road.
For the first time in program history, the Keydets are moving a spring practice off-post to William Fleming High School tomorrow for a two-hour practice/scrimmage that kicks off at noon. Head Coach Sparky Woods calls it a win-win opportunity for the Keydets, a chance to break routine a bit and rub shoulders with fans in the Roanoke Valley. He likes what he's seen this spring.Sparky Woods, VMI HEAD FOOTBALL COACH, said "It's not what we're doing here as much as doing it better I think. So execution gives us a chance to really work that this spring. And then you know we'd like to come out of it healthy."
