Virginia Tech Students Charged With Burglary & Malicious Wounding

Blacksburg, VA - Two Virginia Tech students are in jail Thursday afternoon, charged with burglary and malicious wounding.

Thursday at about 3 a.m., Blacksburg Police say they responded to a residence in the 1300 Block of Giles Avenue for a report of a burglary in progress. When they got there, they found a man who had been assaulted.

Police say he was hit with a blunt object. He was transported by ambulance to a local hospital where he was treated and released.

Tech students Brandon Gravett and Maxim Girshevitky are both being held in the Montgomery County Jail without bond.
