      Virginia GOP Makes Republican Ticket Nominations

      Richmond, VA - The Virginia GOP has made its nominations for the 2013 Republican ticket.

      In a statewide convention in Richmond Saturday, delegates chose the unopposed Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli as their candidate for governor.

      After four ballots and ten hours of voting, E.W. Jackson won the lieutenant governor nomination, beating six other candidates.

      And State Senator Mark Obenshain beat out Delegate Rob Bell for the attorney general nomination.
