Virgil Goode's Impact on the Presidential Race Tuesday

Rocky Mount, VA - A lot of people were wondering what Virgil Goode's role would be in this presidential election. Goode ran for the Constitution Party.

His headquarters were in Rocky Mount on Election Day. he grabbed 13,495 votes in Virginia, which was less than 1 % of the vote.

Analysts say even if Romney had gotten all the combined votes from third party candidates, he would not have won Virginia.

Goode got on the ballot in 42 states. He says his main platforms were jobs and cracking down on immigration.

"We need to preserve those jobs for US citizens, quit bringing all these foreigners in here it's really an absurd situation."

Goode says he doesn't anticipate running for president again. But he also said, "Never say never."
