Danville, VA-- Several people gathered on the Danville Courthouse steps Friday evening, to remember a 2-month-old baby that died tragically in April.
A vigil was held for Alphonza Fuller III. His mother, Michelle Pruitt was charged with killing him.
Tracy Inman organized the event, when she learned that baby didn't have a funeral. Some of Pruitt's extended family attended the service. They were thankful for what Inman did putting together the vigil.
"She's an amazing person, and now, I mean hopefully he's looking down saying thank you to all of us," said Darnell Pruitt, Alphonza's great-aunt.
Inman is now raising money to build a memorial in honor of baby Alphonza.
