Vice President Biden Speaks in Danville

Danville, VA - The race for the White House blew through Southside Virginia Tuesday. Vice President Joe Biden campaigned for President Barack Obama.

Biden spoke at Danville's Institute for Advanced Learning and Research Tuesday morning to a crowd of more than 1,200 people.

The vice president made drastic comparisons between Obama and Romney.

Biden focused on all the cuts Romney has promised on federal programs like education and welfare.

He said Republicans have simple-minded ideas that you can "put on bumper stickers." He said if they had a bumper sticker for Obama's presidency, it would say, "Osama Bin Laden is dead and GM is alive."

Biden had one major gaffe - he asked the Virginia audience for their support in the November election saying ,"With you, we can win North Carolina again."
