Va. Wesleyan Tabbed ODAC Basketball Preseason #1

Defending champion Virginia Wesleyan tops the ODAC Men's Basketball Preseason Poll for the second straight year.
The Marlins, with four senior starters back from last year's 27-and-4 squad, racked up 11 of the 12 first-place votes with Randolph-Macon getting the other one. Randolph College, led by standout guard Colton Hunt, is picked fifth.
Lynchburg College, with center Austin Chillemi returning, is seventh, followed by Washington & Lee. Roanoke, Bridgewater & Emory & Henry are tied for 9th with new member Shenandoah 12th.
Clay Nunley, 6TH-YEAR RANDOLPH COACH, said "I think we've got some idea based on experience returning that we've got a chance to be solid if we can do the right things. So hopefully that'll be on us to work hard and take care of business on our end."
Hilliary Scott, 5TH-YEAR LYNCHBURG COACH, said "We'll play a little faster on both ends and you know we always want to try and improve on our defensive side of the ball. And hopefully we can improve on last year's success."
Page Moir, 24TH-YEAR ROANOKE COACH, said "You know I can tell the guys hey you've got to earn respect, it's not going to be given to you. You've got to earn respect. This is where people see us in the league, that doesn't define where we can end up and let's do something about it."
