VA Christmas Tree Growers Reporting Great Crop
Lynchburg, VA - All the rain we saw earlier this year means good things for the Christmas tree crop.
Growers across Virginia say the wet weather we saw in late spring and early summer came just at the right time.
Pines grow new needles in April and May, and around the same time, spruce push out new growth alongside older branches.
Growers, including the president of the Virginia Christmas Tree Growers Association, are reporting lush and high quality trees.
