Charlottesville, VA - The University of Virginia is opening a center to focus on children with ADHD.
The university says the Children's Learning Clinic will focus on unlocking the potential of children with ADHD in addition to treatment.
The clinic will be open to the public for children ages 8 to 12 who have been diagnosed with ADHD or have been experiencing symptoms associated with the disorder.
Clinic director Michael Kofler says educators there believe these children can go from struggling to thriving.
Children who qualify will be eligible for a 10 week, non-medication treatment.
