UPDATE: Utility Pole Damaged, Road Closed After Roanoke Co. Hit and Run

Roanoke Co., VA - Roanoke County Police say Pitzer Road has been re-opened to traffic following a hit and run accident early Sunday morning that damaged a power pole near Brookridge Road.
Roanoke Co., VA - An early morning hit and run accident has resulted in a road closure in Roanoke County.
Police say an unknown vehicle struck a utility pole in the area of Pitzer Road and Brookridge Road.
The crash, police say, happened around 6 a.m. and caused power lines to drop and hang from the ground.
While no power outages are reported from AEP, power crews are on the scene to clear the road.
Roanoke County Police are investigating the incident in the meantime.
