Update: Water Problems in Parts of Lynchburg

Lynchburg, VA - Some businesses in Midtown Lynchburg had discolored water or no water at all Monday after a waterline break.

The Park Street construction is what caused the break.

According to construction crews on the scene, fire hydrants in the area were opened to help flush out the system.

Lynchburg City Schools reports that water has been restored to the Adult Learning Center at 1015 Miller Park Square.

The building will be open to the public during its regular hours beginning tomorrow, but remains closed for the rest of the day Monday.

There have been no boil water advisories issued.
