Lynchburg, VA - Only about 500 customers remain without power as of Monday morning, four days after storms knocked out power to 175,000 homes and businesses in Virginia.
Crews have been hard at work since Thursday's storms.
At last check, about 500 customers in Roanoke County were still waiting for the lights to be turned back on.
There was a widespread outage today in Bedford County not connected to these storms.
Officials say a tree fell over, causing close to 1000 outages. Now, that number has been reduced back to about 100 outages.
Lynchburg, VA - Appalachian Power crews have restored power to all of the residents in Lynchburg that lost power during Thursday's storm.
APCO officials say more than 90% of all the customers affected in the state now have their power back, and they are continuing to make great progress.
As of Sunday afternoon, approximately 7,810 customers are left without power in Virginia.
