Franklin Co., VA - Power has been restored to Appalachian Power customers in Franklin County, according to the company's web site.
Franklin Co., VA - Over 2,000 Appalachian Power customers in Franklin Co. lost power around 2:30 Thursday afternoon.
Appalachian Power spokesperson Todd Burns says they are currently investigating the situation, but it may a while before AEP crews can find the cause of the outage.
Many people in the Rocky Mount area tell ABC 13 that their power blinked off around the same time Thursday, but their power came back on.
There are rain showers in the area today, but no severe weather or lightning has been detected.
