Pittsylvania Co., VA - After about six hours of deliberation in the Byron Clements' trial, the judge declared a mistrial Thursday night after ending with another hung jury.
Clements was charged with one count of malicious wounding after police say he stabbed a security guard at a Social Security Administration building in 2011. A trial last year ended with a hung jury.
Day one of the new trial ran late into the evening Wednesday, with several witnesses taking the stand. Thursday, the jury retired to consider all of the evidence around noon.
Clements' defense attorney says his client suffers from psychiatric issues.
