Roanoke, VA - The Virginia Department of Health reports no other cases of active tuberculosis have been found in their investigation.
This is following the identification of a single case of active TB at William Fleming High School.
On Friday, December 6 they began testing approximately 150 people identified in their close-contact investigation. 90% have been tested and evaluated.
There have been some with positive skin tests -- and they were referred for a chest x-ray. VDH said all of those who got the X-ray show no signs of active disease.
VDH said the testing and evaluation process can take weeks or months to and evaluations will continue.
