Update: Lynchburg Man Hit by Car Will Be Ok
Lynchburg, VA - Lynchburg police officials say the man hit by a car Monday is going to be ok.
Witnesses say the driver of the car didn't see the man crossing the street at Park and Floyd just after 9 p.m.
Officials say told no charges will be filed.
Lynchburg, VA - A Lynchburg man is in the hospital after police say he was hit by a car Monday night. Officers were called to the intersection of Park and Floyd just after 9:00 Monday night.
Witnesses say the driver of the car didn't see the man crossing the street. The impact with the man smashed the car's windshield and tore off the car's front bumper.
Crews took the man to Lynchburg General Hospital. Right now, there's no word on his condition or whether any charges will be filed.
