Under Pressure From Supervisors, Ringgold Fire Dept. Finds New Truck

Pittsylvania Co., VA - After an ultimatum from the Pittsylvania County Board of Supervisors, the Ringgold Fire Department has purchased a new ladder truck.

According to Chief Mike Neal, the fire department agreed to buy a 2014 truck for more than $500,000 dollars.
The Board gave the fire department 90 days to find a truck or return the $200,000 dollars they gave them last year. Neal hopes to put a down payment of roughly $400,000 on the truck and finance the rest.
