Danville, VA - Two teens have been charged after a home invasion in Danville Monday.

Neighbors tell us the suspects busted through the screen door and wood paneling at the back entrance of a house in the 200 block of Oakwood Dr. around 11 a.m.

Derek Allen, 18, and Shabba Chandler, 19, were arrested on the scene and charged with breaking and entering, as well as malicious damage.

Anne Grier says she saw the two young men being arrested, and was taken aback by the incident.

"I was...I didn't know what to think. I just was stunned that there would be a break-in right around here. We don't - we haven't had any of those in a long time," Grier said.

The suspects are being held without bond at the Danville City Jail.
