Two of Three Lawsuits Settled in Rocky Mount Firefighters Case
Rocky Mount, VA - Two of the lawsuits filed over the 2010 crash that left two Rocky Mount firefighters dead have been settled.
Fire Chief Posey Dillon and firefighter Danny Altice were killed as they responded to a call in July of 2010.
State Police say an SUV driven by Teri Valentine hit their truck. Valentine filed suit against Dillon's estate. And likewise, Dillon's estate sued her.
There have been settlements reached in both of those cases.
A third lawsuit filed by Altice's daughter against Valentine and Dillon's estate is still pending.
