Martinsville, VA -- Last week, we reported on a story about a mother and six of her newborn puppies that were separated shortly after birth.
The Martinsville-Henry County SPCA received two more of her puppies Thursday. The organization has been hard at work trying to reunite the ones accidentally given up for adoption too soon.
Employees say that the mother needs to be with her pups until eight weeks of age, otherwise they have a hard time surviving. They are, however, still looking for the last two dogs.
