Lynchburg, VA - Lynchburg Police officers arrested two people after noticing some suspicious activity on Wards Ferry Road early Tuesday.
South Division patrol officers with the Lynchburg Police Department responded to the 1600 block of Wards Ferry Road after receiving a complaint that two white females were tampering with a vehicle.
Once they arrived in the area, officers stopped a vehicle based on a description given to them that the two females were seen in.
Detectives were brought in after patrol officers linked the involvement of the two females in larcenies from multiple vehicles that were parked in the same area.
They performed a search was at a residence in the 100 block of Thomas Road in Lynchburg and recovered stolen property from previous larcenies.
Detectives seized GPS devices, purses, digital cameras, a laptop, more than 20 cases of candy, iPods, and other various items.
Investigators say Victoria Lyn Wilson, 20, and Amy L Barrett (photo not available), 21 both of Lynchburg were the suspects involved.
The two are both charged with four counts of felony larceny, one count of misdemeanor larceny and two counts of property damage.
Additional charges are pending upon the identification of the additional victims, investigators say.
Both suspects are being held without bond at the Lynchburg Adult Detention Center.
