Two Arrested in Meth Bust in Salem

Salem, VA - Two people have been arrested after police say they found an active meth lab in the basement of their home in Salem.

Officers searched the home on the 300 Block on North Bruffey Street in Salem Thursday afternoon.
Kenneth Shelton, 25, and Lisa Mason, 50, are charged with multiple offenses - including manufacturing and possession of methamphetamine - all within 1,000 feet of a school.
More charges are pending.
Both Shelton and Mason are being held in Roanoke County Jail without bond.
