Danville, VA-- Hundreds of children flooded downtown Danville tonight to get as much candy as they could Wednesday night.
West Main Street was the big hotspot and had the most trick or treaters. One candy giver bought five bags of candy and they were almost gone within 30 minutes.
"I'm from a big place, I'm from New York and this is a lot more extreme than it is at home," said Samantha Lupo. "There's hundreds and hundreds of kids everywhere, i've never seen anything like it."
Residents weren't the only ones giving out candy on West Main Street, Averett University also joined and had huge line on their front doorstep.
