Trial Held Tuesday in the Murder of a Pittsylvania Co. Man
Pittsylvania Co, VA - The trial for a 23 year old accused of murder is underway today in Pittsylvania County.
James Santangelo, II is charged with the second degree murder of James Ooten, 52.
Investigators say Santangelo stabbed Ooten in his front yard with a kitchen knife after entering the victim's home uninvited in July of 2012.
Ooten died on the scene.
Both sides revealed Tuesday morning in court how the two men were in an intimate relationship and had gotten into a physical altercation once before.
