Travelers Hit the Road the Day After Christmas

Lynchburg, VA - Despite many heading back home after Christmas, the roads Thursday were not too bad.

Traffic was smooth sailing on Route 460. It looked good on Route 29 as well.

ABC 13 asked some travelers how their trips went Thursday.

"The roads today have been great. No problems at all," said Mary Noon.

"Pretty packed, pretty steady. Especially up in the Roanoke area. Back this way it's not too bad," said James Campbell.

One positive to the traveling: gas prices are lower than they were this time of year.
