Tobacco Barn Project Reaches Halfway Point in Pittsylvania Co.
Pittsylvania Co., VA - The tobacco barn survey that has been taking place for months in Pittsylvania County, is now at its halfway point.
The field representative for Preservation Virginia, says their next stop is Gretna, and they hope to be done by next month.
They say so far they've noticed a big difference in the construction and ages of the barns.
They'll be revealing more of their findings at the former Chatham Train Station next week.
